Assistance Program Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for Washington Mutual Alumni Emergency Assistance or the Washington Mutual Re-Training Grant, you must:

  • Be a former Washington Mutual employee who was laid off after April 1, 2008, 
  • Have made $29.00 an hour or less as of your last paycheck,
  • Have difficulty paying for: medical care, food, housing, child care, transportation or other job hunting expenses, or re-training tuition.

Please download, print and complete the Washington Mutual Alumni Emergency Assistance application and send it, along with a copy of your last pay stub and a copy of your termination letter from JP Morgan Chase, to:

If your application is accepted, you will receive a call from Wellspring Family Services. In addition to finding out about your immediate need, one of their representatives will attempt to help you find other services in your community that may be of use to you on an on-going basis.  Wellspring Family Services will be able to provide information and contacts to you that may be of more lasting help.

NOTE: Recently we have agreed to permit a third application if the need is still there. Click here to download this new application form if you continue to have need and have already received two emergency grants. Please follow the instructions on the application form.

 

 

Washington Mutual Re-Training Grant Program
 

Please download, print and complete the Washington Mutual Alumni Assistance Program Re-Training Grant application form and send it, along with a copy of your last pay stub and termination letter from JP Morgan Chase, to the same address as above.  If accepted, you will receive a call from Wellspring Family Services.
