Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

• Be a former employee of Washington Mutual, or the child, step-child, or dependent of a former employee, who worked for the company:
            In Washington State and
            For a minimum of five consecutive years, working 1000 or
               more hours each year, and terminating on or after April 1,
               2007 (preference will be given to those who worked longer
               for the company)

• Be a high school senior, a college/university undergraduate or returning to undergraduate studies

• Demonstrate a financial need

• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in high school or undergraduate studies

• Study at an accredited public Washington State: community college, four year college/university or technical/vocational school.

The WM Alumni Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. We have enlisted the Washington Scholarship Coalition to assist with the application process.  Click here for more information on how to apply

Applications will be accepted until March 1st and we anticipate notifying the scholarship recipients by the end of April, 2010.
