Donations Bring Scholarship and Emergency Assistance Fund To Over $600,000

We offer two programs to assist WM employees who have lost their jobs and/or their savings following the recent events at Washington Mutual.

In the Fall of 2008, we established the scholarship fund for WM employees in Washington State who lost their savings just as they were hoping to send their kids, or themselves, to college.  In April 2009, we awarded our first seven scholarships and we have raised more than $600,000 to help Washington Mutual employees and their families.  Click HERE to learn more about our progress.

Now, on a nationwide basis, we are trying to do something for some of the laid off employees who have even more immediate needs. We are partnering with Wellspring Family Services to offer you some counseling and financial assistance with particular needs you may have at this difficult time.
